Now that Mario Kart Wii has been launched worldwide, it’s only fitting that competitions begin to spring up. Even better is that Nintendo is putting them together and they will be worldwide. Compete against everyone.

These competitions will be available through the in-game Mario Kart channel. The first competition will put racers in competition for the fastest time on the Mario Circuit so get to practicing. The good news though, is that you’ll get to keep trying and trying as long as the tournament goes on, so don’t let your first attempts get you down.
