Did you purchase Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 on the Xbox Live Arcade yet? It was just released yesterday, so you might not have, but you’ll probably want to. If you purchase the game, you’ll be give access to the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta test.
From what I understand, the game will only feature Ryu and Ken and only a single stage for eight weeks, but if you love beta tests, show Capcom what you got. Good news for those of you in the Metal Gear Online Beta. New Content! There is a new map titled Midtown Maelstrom and a new gametype rule, called Sneaking Mission. Both are live right now. There are also several other minor updates and changes to the game so head on over to the Playstation Blog to learn more about it.
It feels like forever waiting for Playstation Home to be released to the public, and now it’s gonna feel like even longer, because Sony has delayed it to the Fall.
Kazuo Hirai, President of SCEI has stated,”We understand that we are asking PS3 and prospective PS3 users to wait a bit longer, but we have come to the conclusion that we need more time to refine the service to ensure a more focused gaming entertainment experience than what it is today.”
Well, if it ain’t ready, it just ain’t ready. Let’s hope there are no more delays on the Playstation Home though. I’m ready to start playing games through this thing.
id Software has announced that they are looking for people who are interested in beta testing Quake Live, which was previously thought to be named Quake Zero, which is actually a web browser version of Quake III Arena. Confused yet? Just sign up for the beta already.
Thats if, you buy the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade game, Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3. It only costs 800 Microsoft points, and everyone likes to be a part of a beta test. Especially for such a cool game. The beta will run for about 8 weeks so that gives you enough time to run it through it’s paces. You can expect to see Commando 3 on XBLA sometime in the Spring.
If you enjoy The Sims games, like many people do, EA has announced a closed beta for The Sims Carnival, which is a new online community which gives players the ability to create and share games. The new community will provide it’s members with game creation tools for a variety of skill sets, depending on how experienced or inexperienced you may be. So if you are interested in the Beta, go sign up. You can expect it to go public in Spring 2008.
