I don’t know how hard it will really be to find an MGS4 Playstation 3 bundle the day Metal Gear Solid 4 launches, but if you want one really bad and don’t want to take the chance of not finding one on launch day, you should check out Amazon.com today. They will be pre-selling the North American MGS4 bundles this morning at 10am PST. I’m betting they’ll sell out quickly, so you better be ready for some fast mouse-clicking.

Grand Theft Auto IV multiplayer has been at the top of Xbox Live for a while now, but Call of Duty 4 has come back to swoop in and reclaim the #1 position. Infinity ward seems to be fairly happy with this and has announced that this coming weekend, players can double experience points, which applies to both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.

According to a member of the NeoGAF forums, his PS3 needed to be repaired, so he sent it in. After about a month of waiting he became concerned so he contacted them. This is what customer service said:
“Sorry we don’t have any stock of the 60GB left and we don’t know when a shipment will arrive to replace your unit. Call back in two to four weeks for an update”
So what does this mean for everyone who purchased the 60GB Playstation 3′s? It better not mean that if I ever have to send mine in, I’ll never get it back. Sony better make things right, because they already have enough problems going for them.

Sony has decided to cease the production of both the 20 GB and 60 GB models of the Playstation 3 in Japan, following the final shipment in January. They plan to push the focus onto the 40GB model. Since the 40 GB model is missing a few features that the higher-spec models had, production costs will be lower and should allow Sony to finally make a little profit.

If you own a Mac and a Playstation 3, this post may interest you. NullRiver has created MediaLink, which allows you to stream music and movies to your PS3 as well as other really cool things. So if you don’t want to waste that valuable space on the PS3 hard drive for music, just use the space that you are already using on your computer. I’ll definitely be using it.

I currently own a 60GB Playstation 3 and I’ve realized that it’s pretty easy to fill up the hard drive and have to start deleting things, so I can imagine how often I would have to do some clean-up with a 20GB or 40GB hard drive.
If you are having the same problem, you may want to consider upgrading your hard drive to something a little more hefty. Sony actually posted a link to CNET on their Playstation Blog about how to upgrade your PS3 hard drive. I’m actually kind of surprised that they posted something about this, because I thought it would have some kind of effect on your warranty.
One really cool thing you could do instead of opening up your PS3 is getting an external hard drive. I’d actually like to have a 250GB but then I might end up storing too much stuff and have a real big mess later down the road that I really wouldn’t want to clean up.

If you own a Playstation 3, but not an Xbox 360 you’re probably waiting for Lost Planet to come out, right. Well, check out some screenshots from the game below. It may be a year old already, but I’m sure many of you are still excited to have the chance to play it.
