There are two new games coming to Xbox Live Arcade this week. One of which is a must buy; Rez HD and Chessmaster LIVE. Can you guess the “must buy?” Yeah, of course…Chessmaster LIVE. Just awesome. Get ’em both for 800 Microsoft points each on Wednesday.
Harmonix and MTV games have made an announcement that is sure to make every Rock Band owner happy. They’ve announced that individual Rock Band instruments will finally be available in the U.S. starting on February 12th. The drum kit will be priced at $79.99. A wireless Fender Stratocaster guitar controller will cost $59.99, but for some stupid reason, won’t be made available until April 1st. The instrument that everyone really wants, comes last. Oh well, at least it’s coming.
There is a new classic rock content pack for Guitar Hero III out for Xbox 360. You can get it for 500 Microsoft points and should be able to find it on the PS3 later today. Here are the tunes:
The demo for Devil May Cry 4 is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Look for it sometime later today on the Playstation 3.
We all knew it was coming soon, but Rez HD has been announced as being available on XBLA next week on Wednesday. The game will be HD compatible and contain remastered music for 5.1 sound systems. This is a must own!
In what will probably be the best news you’ve heard in a long time or will hear for a while, Grand Theft Auto IV now has an official release date of April 29, 2008, as announced by Rockstar Games this morning. This will be a simultaneous release for both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 worldwide. My Thursday has been made.

Capcom has just announced that the playable demo for Devil May Cry 4 will be coming to both the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace this Thursday. You will get to play as Nero and will get to sample various sections of the full game. I’m ready!!!
The downloadable content for Rock Band this week is the Oasis Music Pack. All three songs in the pack are from Oasis. The songs are “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Live Forever,” and “Wonderwall.” You can get each song for 160 Microsoft points or $1.99 each on the PS3 later this week, as well as picking up the whole pack for 440 Microsoft points.
