XBLA Size Restrictions Easing Up

Bionic Commando: Rearmed

As everyone already knows, the file size restrictions that Microsoft put in place for their Xbox Live Arcade service on the Xbox 360 is a pain. Not only do developers have to struggle to fit everything within the limits, but the gamers don’t get the full experience that they should be getting. Well, it’s not certain whether or not this will be an issue anymore.

At least not for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix or Bionic Commando: Rearmed. Producer Ray Jimenez has confirmed that the the filesize for the game Super Street Fighter II HD Remix will not be an issue, due to “great help from the guys at Microsoft.” Then, Chris Kramer from Capcom said the same goes for Bionic Commando: Rearmed. It seems that Microsoft has let a larger filesize slip throuth the restrictions for Capcom. This doesn’t mean much yet though, as Kramer also stated that Microsoft “do not see a need to change their policies anytime soon.” Well, you’re getting the full experience of these games, so that’s all that matters.
