Duke Nukem 3D

3D Realms has finally confirmed, after much speculation, that Duke Nukem 3D will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Scott Miller, head of 3D Realms studio, has stated that they are “talking to Microsoft about getting a release slot sometime this year.” He also mentioned that the long awaited Duke Nukem Forever is not ready yet and that it will be released when it is. No more info to share on that subject. So, a little good news and a little bad news if you are a Duke Nukem fan, which I am.

Sadly, most people don’t get to see all of the great films that are shown during the Sundance Film Festival and if those films never make it to the theater, you’ll probably never get that chance.

There’s good news for those movie fanatics out there though, since the Sundance Institute and Sundance Channel have partnered with Microsoft in order to offer some of the short films from the 2008 Sundance Film Festival on the XBL Marketplace. There will be a total of 45 short films that will be made available for $1.99 each. They’ll be made available starting on Friday, January 18.

I’ve seen tons of videos for the new Turok for quite a while now and finally, other people, other than me get to play it. There is a new single player demo for Turok on XBL that seems to be available all over the place except North America. Maybe it’ll be available later. Anyway, the game looks way better than any of the other games in the series.
