Recently, Phil Harrison left his position as President at Sony Worldwide Studios and nobody really knows why or what he would do. It seems Harrison is trying his hand at the impossible though and has taken a position as president and director general at Infogrames, parent company of Atari.
With all the money that Atari has lost, about $300,000 in just the last quarter of 2007, it seems like a lost cause, but I guess we’ll see. Hopefully things do work out, because I’d hate to see a game company that I grew up with just disappear.
